An EASA Part 66 AML licence is mandatory for an aircraft maintenance technician. When your licence is lost or damaged, you can apply for a Part 66 AML duplicate. You'll receive an exact copy (duplicate) of the document.
It is not required to hand in all original documentation for the application of a Part-66 AML duplicate. This makes the application process easier as it is for an initial application, amendment or renewal of the licence. Application requirements can be found via the application help below.
To ensure swift and efficient handling of your AML application, please follow the instructions below carefully. Ensure all documents are legible and complete to avoid delays in processing your application. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our support team via e-mail (nl.luchtvaart@kiwa.com).
After receipt of your application, it will be processed within 25 business days.
When applying for the endorsement of a duplicate, with the exception of the first type and category, you can opt for Kiwa Register’s Express Service. Your application will then be treated with priority. Read all about this service on the Express Service aviation page.
The validity of the original AML also applies to the new AML you are applying for.
The rate for a duplicate of a licence for aircraft maintenance technician is determined by the Dutch Governement in the Regeling tarieven transportsectoren (Dutch) at € 150,04 (incl. VAT).
After your application has been received by Kiwa Register, you will receive a payment request. This must be paid no later than four weeks after the date. The invoice is sent with the decision and Part-66 AML. If your employer pays the costs for the application, you can indicate this during the application. If you cancel the application or if your application is rejected, there will be no refund of the costs.
